Heritage Shutter Kauri Point
This stunning application of shutters belongs to Judith & Guy St John-Ives. The home, built by builder Mike Bell of Belco Construction, is located in Kauri Point, Bay of Plenty - a gorgeous village made up of around 100 dwellings nestled on the pohutukawa fringed peninsula.
From the Heritage Range, these beautifully finished, cedar shutters were manufactured with craftsmanship and style and custom painted to perfectly meet our client’s requirements.
All of the black hardware seen was specially imported from Italy - the Espagnolettes used to pull the shutters closed and lock them, while the Fermascuri are used to hold the shutters against the wall in an open position.
The windows are the modern version of the shug window – allowing our clients to lean out the windows and operate the shutters.
