The Santa Fe Contemporary range provides an elegant and functional interior window covering. This range of imported shutters (made in China) are made to custom fit into each opening and are made to the highest quality.
Colour and finishes
The Contemporary range is available in a wide range of woods, composites, colours and finishes.

Western Red Cedar, either light or dark cedar and finished with clear matt lacquer.

Basswood is a plantation wood grown in Asia solely for the purpose of harvesting. They can either be finished in stains and lacquer colours or painted.

Phoenixwood, from the Phoenix tree is classed as a hardwood. In its natural state, it has a very even colour making it ideal for stains. Phoenixwood is available in a variety of standard stain and paint colours.

Customcraft is a man-made product. it is manufactured from a combination of timber fibres and glue and is dimensionally very stable. Used world wide in the manufacture of furniture so it lends it's self well to the making of shutters. Customcrafe is only available in a paint finish.

Gael Garrett is one of those interior designers with which Santa Fe works closely. A great example of a recent project is the Lovegrove House in Matangi. Custom painted basswood shutters in the living area, black walnut bi-fold doors with adjustable shutter panels between rooms and Venetian blinds were all used to create an environment filled with ambience and style.
