Some of the techniques and craftsmanship that goes into each shutter are detailed below:

Reinforced Engineered Stile Multiple layers of wood are bonded together to bolster the stability of the core of the stile.	Prescription Wood Conditioning Trademarked drying technique emulates conditions of installation location to minimise post installation shrinking or swelling.	Mortise & Tenon Joint This type of joint is very strong and is traditionally found in high quality furniture and building construction
Patented Polypropylene Coating This coating is what makes the Woodlore shutters so durable with excellent resistance to cracking or chipping over time.	Easytilt Mechanism This is the next generation of louvre tilting systems that give a streamlined appearance with tight, even louvre closure.	Quarter Sawn Wood Quarter sawing results in fewer boards that take much longer to dry but they are far superior for shutter construction.

These shutters are all made specifically to custom fit into each opening and are available in a wide range of woods, composites, colours and finishes.

Artwood is a man made plastic composite. It is a very hard wearing and water resistant shutter making it ideal for wet areas or areas that are subjected to extreme wear and tear. There are 6 white and neutral colours to choose from.

Phoenixwood, from the Phoenix tree is classed as a hardwood. In its natural state, it has a very even colour making it ideal for stains. Phoenixwood is available in a variety of standard stain and paint colours.  It can also be finished in any custom stain or paint colour to match your decor.

Woodlore is a man-made product. It is manufactured from a combination of timber fibres and glue and is dimensionally very stable. This timber is coated in a moisture resistant polypropylene skin making it a very hard wearing shutter. Woodlore shutters are available in 3 shades of white and cream.

Western Red Cedar, either light or dark cedar and finished with clear matt lacquer.

Motorisation available for hinged, bi-fold and sliding applications.
